Getting around Brighton

Uber/taxi

Starting from the most expensive option and that is to take a taxi or request an UBER. If you are in large group of friends going somewhere or coming back from a party, it can be sometimes even cheaper than buying multiple single bus tickets. If you are familiar with UBER, it does the same thing as a taxi but you order one through an app with a fixed price. The cost of the trip is then taken from your credit card connected to your account on  UBER app.

Price:

Hove-Train Station 7-9 £

The second and the most common way is to take a bus. Brighton and Hove has its own bus network that covers even further destination than Brighton and Hove itselves.

Brighton buses

Most of them are famous double-deckers so if you are a tourist, go and enjoy the ride on the front seats with great view from up high. You can choose to buy only CITYSAVER day ticket, that allows you to go around the city or if you plan to explore more or want to take the bus after 1:30 AM, buy NETWORKSAVER day ticket. Bicycle

Renting a bicycle can be also the way. It is much more fun and even cheaper. Imagine riding a bicycle on the seafront all the way to Hove or Rottingdean. An amazing way how to spend a day. Just pay attention to other vehicles and drive safe.

Brighton bicycles

The best way to hire a bike would be Brighton Bike Share, that was launched in September 2017. It is not a shop, but a whole line of bike stations around Brighton and Hove area, that are connected to each other. So you can hire a bike at one station and return it to another. First of all it gives you freedom and also saves money. How? You can cycle to your specific destination, return your bike and then hire another one for the way home. Easy. There are so many station around the town, that you won´t have problem to find one when you need it. And if so? Just don´t bother and lock it anywhere, but it will cost you 1 pound (terrible).

To use the bikes you need to download app and register your card. On the app you can see all the stations and amount of available bikes on there. Cool ha?
